What did you do? On October 19th, we started the lesson taking a look at portfolio box. It can be a good suggestion to do it in class. Students will be able to keep in their boxes their best projects in English, or any other subject. Also, the students can create like a language passport in which they can reflect their experiences with any language. besides that, there is also a biography where they can show how they learn, which activities they do, etc. We also were talking about the document of how evaluate the key competence, we also saw how to plan a whole scholar year and how to make a syllabus. And last but not least, we discovered the ICT app called “PDC Generator 4.0”. What did you learn? What did you do? At the beginning of the lesson, we were doing a reminder of the days when the groups will have to do the exposition. We were also talking to summarized what is the EPEL that we were working on the previous day. We finally started with the unit 2, we were working on what a syllabus is, in the timing, in syllabus elements, etc. To finalize the lesson, we were asked to read at home the document of the key competences, but we especially had to read on how to assess the key competences. What did you learn? About the EPEL what we could learn it was that the main objectives are: It reflects what level we have in each language we speak. It shows our objectives for the future. What did you do? During the class on October 11 we were working with the Common European Framework of Reference, which are standards used not only in Spain and which is used to measure the level of comprehension and oral and written expression in a given language. What did you do? During the day 4 th of October we were working on the Royal Decree 126/2014 that is where the curriculum for primary education is established and where we can observe the regulation of the elements determining the teaching and learning process for each educational stage. After that we divided the class in pairs to do an exercise in which after observing an exercise intended for students, we had to decide which key competences were worked in that exercise. What did you learn?
